6 Month Old Trach/Vent Baby - Night Nurse
We just brought our 6 month old son, Nathaniel, home from the hospital last week. He was in the hospital since he was born, with heart surgery and different other procedures, ending with getting a tracheostomy, and he is on a ventilator 24/7. We are so happy to finally have him home with us, but we are looking for a nurse that is willing to work the night shift… 7 PM-7 AM, or any night hours, to help my husband & I be able to get good sleep at night. We have an almost-3-year-old son also, who has tons of energy during the day. We would so appreciate any help! We started working with a nursing agency, but they do not have any night nurses available right now. He has medications that are given through a G-tube, and he requires some suctioning throughout the day, and mainly just monitoring him to make sure he’s doing alright - he has to have supervision all the time since he can’t make noise with his trach. He’s a super sweet, smiley baby, and so much fun :)
