My son Eric's longtime day nurse is retiring. We need a full time day nurse any and every day of the week, hours flexible. My husband and I are home and capable of taking care of Eric too, but it is nice to get out of the house together. Eric has been in the Forward Health program for 40 years. He has had type one diabetes since age 1. He also has Down syndrome, a trach, and respiratory needs such as oxygen. He underwent spinal neck surgery in 2023. From that he came home with a G-Tube. He rebounds from everything and is able to walk, ride a 3 wheel bike, a peloton bike, and do other low key physical activities. His day nurses take him to the coffee shop every day. He is a tech lover and uses his iPad, iPhone, TV, DVR etc. We live in Mequon, WI a house away from Lake Michigan and a wonderful park. We have had nurses stay with us for up to 25years which I think demonstrates that we are a congenial family, and Eric is a joy to be with!
